I wonder if this genre of art will go away – it has the charm of aphasia rehabilitation but the code is blinkered – I’m no sure if the artists likes academic “conceptualism” or hates it. Also I don;t like academic conceptualism, so I just don’t give a shit. At the same time I feel an affinity, if only distant, like a long lost uncle who shows up drunk at your door and asks if you kept his drawings from when he was in elementary school.
