First of all, we’d like to thank everyone who supported us last summer. We’ve partnered with a wonderful designer/coder who is working with us to improve the experience of using Contemporary Art Daily, and we should have a new version of the site to launch soon.
With so many important organizations and causes, it’s tough for us to ask for support, especially during such difficult times. Usually, around the holidays, like many non-profit organizations we ask our audience to help support us with donations, even in small amounts.
While it’s a bit later than usual, we’d like to ask for your help with a simple ongoing budget line item, so that the additional fundraising that we work on this year can go toward hopefully producing extensive coverage of international events including the Whitney Biennial, Venice Biennale, Documenta, and Skulptur Projekte Münster — all of which take place later this year.
So: our web hosting cost us $4,500 last year. This is the infrastructure that carries our efforts to you. As a small non-profit, this is a significant cost for us. If we can take care of it for 2017 early in the year, we’ll be able to cover more of the important events happening this year on your behalf. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation right now to help ensure that our work bringing high-quality documentation of exhibitions from around the world to the public for free can continue. Thank you!
