Welcome to Week in Review, our Sunday round-up of the last 7 days of activity here at Contemporary Art Daily. As the holiday lull starts to subside, we’re excited to begin implementing some gradual changes to the site. Our first goal is to simultaneously increase our coverage of institutional exhibitions and the number of exhibitions we feature each week. Pursuing these initiatives in tandem means that we can bring you more shows more frequently without compromising the journal’s degree of selectivity. As you may have noticed, we’ve already started ramping up our coverage of museums, including shows this week from Grazer Kunstverein, Ikon and the Whitney. As galleries begin to open new exhibitions, we’re hopeful that we can add one or two more shows per week.

We’re also looking to improve the visibility and means of accessing our archives, which have grown to be fairly substantial, 459 exhibitions and counting. Right now, you can navigate these archives in the sidebar by date, recent and random exhibitions, or using the clumsy “tag cloud.” We’re working on a richer, better means of browsing these shows.
